Do Childhood Vaccinations Cause Autism?

The number of children that are being diagnosed with autism is on the rise in recent years.  As a matter of fact, it is thought that anywhere from three to six out of every 1000 children is going to be diagnosed with the disorder in their young lifetime.  Although a lot of money and research has gone into trying to find a cure for this particular problem, medical science is really been unable to come up with any kind of a functioning cure, or any kind of cure at all.  As a matter of fact, they don't even have an idea of why autism is occurring.  Although there are a lot of theories, one of the more pronounced is that there may be a connection between autism and vaccinations.

Similar to the way alters them is on the rise, vaccinations have been on the rise in recent years as well.  There are a lot of people who have high suspicions of these vaccinations, simply because they have never been proven to work.  Some of the shots that you're given contain high levels of very dangerous chemicals, such as mercury.  Teaching individuals that autism and vaccinations may be connected may be able to help to a certain extent but the school systems tend to crowd out the possibility because students are unable to be enrolled before they are current with all the vaccinations that are available.  Until things like this are changed, there will continue to be problems, if vaccinations are to blame

The best thing that you can do is to raise awareness of this particular disorder by teaching other individuals that there may be a connection between autism and vaccinations.  This can be done through books which act as a guide, funding research that would promote the truth about what is really causing autism or perhaps even wearing a ribbon that would raise awareness of this disorder.  Until medical science is able to step forward and prove that there is a correlation between autism and vaccinations, it is fairly unlikely that anything is going to be done about it at all.  Why has nothing been done up to this time?

Autism And Vaccinations

More than likely, it is because there is a lot of money that is behind the vaccinations and it funds some of the drug companies that are dumping a lot of money into medical research as well.  The last thing that they would want to do is to get rid of the disorder because that would put them all out of a job.

Speech and Language Therapy for Children With Autism

By Lara Pullen, PhD
The goal of speech therapy is to improve all aspects of communication. This includes: comprehension, expression, sound production, and social use of language. Speech therapy may include sign language and the use of picture symbols. At its best, a specific speech therapy program is tailored to the specific weaknesses of the individual child. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to create a child-specific, evolving, long-term speech therapy plan.
